Cookie policy

Verifio only uses cookies and similar storage that are strictly necessary to run the service. We do not use advertising, analytics or social media cookies, and we do not load tracking scripts from third parties. That is why verifio.eu has no cookie banner.

1.What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local storage works in a similar way, but the data stays in your browser and is not sent to our servers automatically.

2.Cookies we use

All these cookies are set by verifio.eu itself (first party), only work over a secure connection and cannot be read by scripts on the page. None are shared with third parties.

4.Verifio app for Shopify and review widgets

Inside Shopify admin, the Verifio app does not set cookies. It uses a session token from Shopify to confirm who you are, and loads Shopify App Bridge from Shopify, as every embedded Shopify app does.

Review widgets and the Trustscore badge on a webshop do not set cookies and do not track visitors.

5.Review invitation emails

Review invitations contain a small image and links that show whether the email was opened or clicked. This is not a cookie. We use it only to calculate a representative Trustscore, as explained in section 4 of the privacy policy. Many email apps block such images; you can also turn off images in your email app.

6.Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the cookies above, signing in and the dashboard will not work.

7.Changes and contact
